Civil Construction


 

The CSTC Pty Ltd is an independent not-for-profit Queensland training company established in 1994 by the Builders Labourers Federation (BLF) Queensland (Australia) to provide training for all construction workers and to particularly target skills development for those members of the construction workforce for which there was no training previously available including:-

  • Apprenticeships and traineeships in scaffolding, dogging, rigging, demolition, concreting, steel fixing and civil construction;
  • RPL and gap training;
  • Prescribed occupations as identified within the national assessment tools including scaffolding, dogging, rigging and crane operations (mobile, slew and non-slew, tower, self -erectors and stiff leg); and
  • Occupational Health and Safety training including accredited and specifically designed awareness programs such as:
    • Workplace Health and Safety Officer;
    • Safety Representative;
    • Confined Space Safety;
    • First Aid;
    • Manual Handling;
    • Safe Work at Heights;
    • Other programs designed for the needs of the client.
