Engineering Training Australia (ETA) is a large Registered Training Organization based in Australia. ETA specializes in facilitating Skills Assessments both Nationally within Australia and Globally in many countries throughout the world.

The outcome that our clients receive after a successful Skills Assessment is the Awarding of an Level AQF III Qualification. The AQF Level III Qualification is the equivalent to an Australian Trade Qualification that is Awarded to many Australians who have successfully completed an Australian Apprenticeship. Australian Industry recognizes the qualifications as the benchmark for Quality Trades people.

The scope of services provided by ETA currently are as follows :

  • Skills Assessments for 457 Visa holders within Australia to gain their AQF Level III for migration purposes

Globally Service Provision

  • Skills Assessments for clients around the world with no formal Qualifications to gain employment within Australia
  • Provide Qualification mapping for clients who hold formal Qualifications from outside Australia and wish to gain employment
  • Skills Assessments for Employers to support or underpin their recruitment processes within Australia and outbound
  • Provide consultancy services nationally to many stakeholders looking for various and numerous solutions
  • Seek and form partnerships/synergies with organizations globally to provide quality outcomes

To gain an Australian qualification by way of Skills Assessment you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Worked in your occupation in the industry for a minimum of 4 years
  • Have worked full time at least 12 months out of the last 24 months
  • Provide a resume, work history showing your experience in the trade
  • Provide contactable referees that can confirm your experience
  • Provide copies of any training undertaken (if you have not competed any training that is fine providing you meet the other criteria)
  • Be available for a Workplace Assessment by one of our Fully Qualified Assessors, we come to you to do all the site visits.

 There is a process to complete this activity in order of requirements:

  • Self Assessment and CV is completed and returned and in return you will receive totally free advice and solutions
  • When you have made a fully informed decision an ETA representative will facilitate your enrolment service
  • You start to collect all required evidence (this process will be explained to you upon enrolment)
  • Workplace visits are conducted by an Australian in Trade Qualified Assessor in full consultation with the client
